I just found out that two of my paintings were accepted into the prestigious Salon International 2011, a project of the International Museum of Contemporary Masters that is hosted by the Greenhouse Gallery of Fine Art in San Antonio, Texas. The show will be judged by Daniel Greene, who's work I greatly admire and will be held April 2nd through 22nd, 2011. The paintings that I will have in it are "The Grown-Up" and "Armour at the Bardini."
"The Grown-up," oil on panel, 14" x 10"

Congrats Kristy. Was just over there the other day looking thru all the wonderful paintings. You are in some great company. Best of luck. I love your work!
Congrats! It's funny, I see people like "The Grown-up" every year at Comic-con, so it's got a resonance with me that's probably different than most folks.
that's awesome Kristy! I love both those pieces.
Aw, thank you so much guys! Ya, the Salon International is a cool show! I highly recommend anyone in the area checking it out! I might even apply for a Canada Council travel grant to attend or something;)
